Not So Banging Bangs

Currently I am at war with my bangs. About a month ago I decided to take the plunge (again) and get blunt bangs. I really like the idea of blunt bangs, but in all honesty I just feel they are way too much of a pain to upkeep. I end up trying to trim them myself, and oh boy that is no fun. I end up having little hairs in my eyes, nose, etc. Just a mess to say the least.
Well, back to my ongoing war with my bangs. They are just all over the place, and in that annoying pre-grow out stage (Yes pre-grow out because I decided to trim them a couple days ago). As I wage on with this ongoing battle, I have had to become creative with my tactics for dealing with my pesky bangs. Hats, headbands, scarves are all my best friends right now. Here are some ideas for you if you are struggling like I am:

I love this bow headwrap that I got at Urban Outfitters. Those bangs don't even stand a chance to be seen.

I dare you to show me someone who doesn't look good in a fedora hat. Such a low key piece, and no annoying bangs in sight! Win.

I usually only wear this around the house when I am cleaning, but I still think its a cute way to hide those bangs.

When all else fails- grab your favorite team's baseball hat. 

What are some styles you use to avoid having a bad hair day? Also any tips for controlling bangs? Thanks! 

Rolling in the Red

My daily uniform usually consists of mostly black, however I will incorporate red as often as possible. I adore red, and classic shapes. Wouldn't this outfit be perfect for a date night? You taken ladies out there I am definitely living vicariously through you by creating lots of outfit ideas through Polyvore!

Flood of Flowers

Yup the flood has arrived! The flood of flowers that is, and I am not even going to complain one bit. This summer flowers are everywhere from glitzy, bold rings to prim dresses. I love everything about flowers, and to incorporate this into my wardrobe is my pleasure. Adding a floral print the right way can make an outfit go from blah to chic and lady like. Just make sure you don't over do the floral print, you don't want to end up looking like wallpaper.

Hello!

Honestly I was intending on deleting my blog. I have felt discouraged, and unable to be a great blogger. However I am back in the game, and trying to find my blogging style!
